CDR is definitely a wild card. He has been said to have the "old man moves". As we saw, they definitely worked at the collegiate level, but will that translate to the league? Honestly, before the draft started, I wanted either Courtney Lee, CDR or Nicolas Batum. When it finally got down to our pick, CDR was still on the board as well as Mario Chalmers and DeAndre Jordan. Any one of those three would have been absolutely fine with me.

Ainge ultimately selected Giddens and I knew about him going into the draft, so I can't say that I'm too surprised. Hopefully Giddens has matured and turned the corner and should be able to give this team hopefully 8-10 minutes a night and some great highlight reel dunks.

Bill Walker was another guy I wanted the Celtics to take as well. I heard he had a promise from the Pistons at 29, so I didn't think we had a chance to land him. I literally jumped out of my seat in excitement when I saw the deal the Celtics made for Walker. Although his knee is being scoped out once again, I think he will be a great power-3 for this team. I'm getting chills of thinking about Giddens and Walker running the floor with Rondo....

I would have taken CDR will that pick because he was so popular with the people and all but Giddens is ok but suprising there because I don't he would have gotten drafted if the celtics didn't pick him. I love Bill Walker and I think he's going to be a real steal for the celtics and probably contribute like a Powe or a Davis did this year but Walker will never be a star in boston because theres just no playing time for him. Walker is already better than Tony Allen. I'm pissed off that the timberwolves didn't draft Walker and try to pair him with Mayo before he got traded and instead drafted Europeans that will never play in the NBA.
